I'm considering getting a green laser for my Glock 43 and I'm looking at the models from Crimson Trace and ArmaLaser. I know there are other ones out there but I'm not that interested in getting a combination tactical light or models that turn on automatically by removing them from a holster. I like these two models because they have a master power switch (to disable the unit when you want) in addition to a sensor that activates when you grip the pistol.

They are:

Crimson Trace's model is the LG-443G Green Laserguard and runs for $279.00 from their website, https://www.crimsontrace.com/products/manufacturer/glock/01-4630 .

ArmaLaser's model is the TR5G and runs for $178.75 from their website, https://armalaser.com/lasers/get-laser-model/154 .

You can find out a lot about the Crimson Trace laser but not much about the ArmaLaser. Some people have complained the Crimson Trace laser doesn't always hold zero very well but the few reviews of the ArmaLaser said there were no problems holding zero. Also the ArmaLaser has a side battery door so you don't have to remove the entire unit to replace the battery. If you've looked at either ones of these before, especially if you compared them, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks,

Tom

I was able to buy a new Crimson Trace LL-803G Laserguard Pro with a green laser and an integrated light with an IWB holster at less than half the usual price. It appears to be very good (It's reasonable small, the light is fairly bright, the green laser light is very easy to see even in daylight). For installation it is straightforward. For now I have snapped it on without the screws just to check it out and it fits my G43 very well. There is a small button on the side to toggle modes such as turn on the light and laser together, turn on the light and laser together as a strobe, turn on only the laser or turn on only the light. The included holster is a Bladetech and is OK but I'll probably see if someone sells something nicer. I've been using a Clinger Comfort Cling holster (http://www.holsterhero.com/clinger-comfort-cling-holster) that I love which fits my G43 without the laser but the opening is too small with the laser installed. The Clinger Comfort Cling holster is fairly inexpensive so I might buy another one and see if I can resew it to fit the laser.
