Looking to buy 20 round armalite mags for my DPMS based .308 rifle, but I'm not sure if there will be any issues.

I know certain items like the bolts and barrels should not be interchanged. Does anyone know if this is also true for magazines?

Thanks.

The armalite mags are m14 based and won't fit. Dpms uses sr25 type mags such as pmag. Armalite does sell an A version based on the sr25 pattern which uses the standard (non m14 based) mags.

I assumed you are searching for preban SR25 mag and armalite do manufactured some 20 rds mags prior to 1994. Again, I will try to justify spending $100+ for a 20rds mag that has no guarantee to work flawless with your rifle, while you can spend $18 to get a magpul 10rds SR25 mag that will guarantee to work flawless in DPMS pattern rifle.

I agree. Doesn't seem worth it.

Thanks for the info!
