I brought my camera and got so involved it never occurred to me to snap a single shot

This cable access show filmed a lot of the event. The host and the cameraman both participated and actually wound up trying two of your 10-22's (they had tube feds). The video should be up in a week or two.

Another Appleseed in the books. I'm not sure why we had 3 times as many people at the same place in the snow a few months ago, but I'll remember to ask them next February.

I was real happy to see Mr. Twigg back in action and all set up in a much better situation than he left here in the People's Republic. And even happier to see Mrs. Twigg and his son arrive with lunch on both days.

The highlight of the weekend for me was having Kate step up and volunteer to be an IIT after getting her Rifleman score (this was her second Appleseed). I left it up to Nick to dunk her under the North Bridge for her 210 when they finally get around to going, but I don't think it's going to be easy. When they aren't competing with each other, they make one hell of a team (as demonstrated on the running Star target) and I'm looking forward to saving the country with them from here on out. Also, Todd and Carlos look like the kind of guys who will not rest until getting a 210 so they can jump on the trail with us and bail. Looking forward to that day too.

One shooter who will remain nameless said Ninsho "sounded cute" when running the line. Hard to argue with that.

I'll know you guys are paying attention when I see the thread about everything I did wrong in the video. Can't wait to see all the bad things namedpipes said about me during his interview (Note for future: The more I tell a guy I like his salmon colored shooting mat, the less he believes me.)

Dan and Pat are two guys who know what they're about, making use of their freedom enough to give John Adams a little break in repenting (just like us!). Pat hadn't done much riflery before if any, but 874 rounds later (we beat ya by the skin of our teeth, Buzzworth! ) (edited to add: #@$! Leave it to Nickle to beat us. But I didn't count the Star target...) he wasn't dragging any more wood and he gave his redcoat the business. We'll see them again at the LFOD shoot in August and when we have the Mansfield shoot next door to them.

On Sunday morning, nobody was finishing the RFAQT. One 30->25second 10 round drill, and for the rest of the day, the only people still shooting at the 4 minute mark were the unlucky ones who spent some time fixing rifle problems. No fussing here. Everybody knows what they have to do to get Rifleman... just have to go out and put all the pieces together with practice.

NPOA wasn't really sticking, even with repeated drills. Don't give up on it That's probably the final piece of the puzzle for most of you.

Brilliant instruction on that video. I plan on watching this in depth and studying this. This will allow me to study the basics before my next Appleseed.

Hey, we have another one of these in just a few weeks! February 6-7.

it looks like there was some snafu with registration and there was no way to sign up. I'm getting that cleared up right now and will post a registration link when I get it.

Until then, who's coming? Last February this was the original "Yes, we can hold an appleseed in the snow" event and now everybody's doing it.
