Ban em all.

Some people really should think a moment before they get political, the long-term consequences of what they are advocating aren't exactly in their best interests:
HuffPost said:
The group has called on Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) to issue an executive order to unilaterally ban guns and implement a statewide buyback program, a strategy its founders acknowledge is far-fetched but reflective of the urgent need for reform.
“This obviously flies in the face of the Constitution — of the Second Amendment,” Saira Rao, a founder of the group, told Colorado Public Radio. “We would like to see the 28th Amendment repealing the Second Amendment. So yes, we are not morons. We are very well aware that this is unconstitutional, and this is how change happens.”
So they support OSHA for rapists?

Co Governor said:
The Governor takes the weighty responsibility of executive action and the trust Coloradans placed in him to govern responsibly seriously, and will not issue an unconstitutional order that will be struck down in court simply to make a public relations statement,” his office said. “These individuals’ calls to improve safety and prevent gun violence through their specific requests for an executive order banning all guns would simply be unconstitutional.”
Jared Polis finds his backbone, for once?

Do the people making such a demand not realize just how dangerous it is to allow a Governor to use an EO to effectively erase a constitutional right? How would those women making this demand feel if a governor used an EO to get rid of abortion? Or remove their 1st amendment rights? Or do away with 9th Amendment, or 10th? How would these women feel if a governor used an EO to do away with the 19th Amendment?

Seems like a good place for the Stefan Molyneux quote on gun control:
“If you are for gun control, then you are not against guns, because the guns will be needed to disarm people. So it’s not that you are anti-gun. You’ll need the police’s guns to take away other people’s guns. So you’re very pro-gun; you just believe that only the Government (which is, of course, so reliable, honest, moral and virtuous…) should be allowed to have guns. There is no such thing as gun control. There is only centralizing gun ownership in the hands of a small political elite and their minions.”

I think he meant morons, not minions

It doesn't matter if you think they're morons or not. If they're the only ones with guns you're going to do what they tell you to do and you're going to do it when they tell you to do it.

Good thing we're the ones with the guns, and they have the pussy hats.

For now. Especially in blue States like massachusetts. Even in Texas there are people who want to ban guns Force gun owners to register etc etc. Of course they don't get any traction at least not yet.

If that happens the answer will still be "f#ck you, no".
