Benelli M4 question about 922(r)

If I take a Benelli M4 model #11707 (full fixed stock) and model #11701 (skeleton stock) and swap the stocks, I should not have a 922(r) problem, right? I'm a little fuzzy on the language, so I wanted to see what you guys think.

Probably not a problem, but the real answer from me is 'I have no idea'. I don't know if either model is imported into the US, or made here. Assuming they're both imports, then you'll need to figure out whether the stocks were US made for 922(r) compliance. If only one was, swapping them may put you in violation of 922(r) depending on the US/imported parts count for that particular model. No idea on how Benelli handles 922(r).

Benelli is really the only source for that information, so if you are concerned about 922(r), I'd contact them.
