I got a 92FS and the front sight insert is missing. The front sight blade is of course part of (integral) to the slide. The front sight blade has a hole drilled through it, so looking down the sights its kind of like a front aperature. Now, been reading, and there are companys, namely tooltech, that will machine in a dovetail cut and install trijicons, but I don't want to go that route. From the looks of it all I need is a replacement insert but cant find the inserts seperately. Further reading mentioned that 4 seasons sells and installs these sights for my application. Has anyone done this to theitr model 92? How is 4 Seasons? Ive never been there (I'm in CT) Thanks

Theres not enough meat to dovetail the front sight. Tooltech drills into the blade and inserts a tritium tube. If the blade was drilled straight through then it was probably set up fir a fiber optic piece.

FYI..If it is already drilled, you can send to Trijicon for new vials. They only use Tooltech for the drilling part. I've done that on a 92 slide in the past that had dead vials. I think it will run you around $50-60 for new vials, but it has been a while so don't quote me on that.

ETA: on my slide, the front blade was completely drilled through. They do that for tritium vials.
