Hi all!

I currently have an M&P 40 which is fine if I'm wearing jeans and a sweatshirt or even T-shirt. What in your opinion would be the best ankle holdster gun that would be slim enough that you wouldn't notice through dress slacks. Keep in mind that when I sit down the pants ride up about 2". Let me know if any of you have ever used any holdster/ gun combo that works well for this? Anything still packs a punch while being small is a bonus too.

Thanks!

I've worn a Ruger LCP in a flexible-style velcro ankle holster many times and it's the most comfortable ankle rig I've tried thus far. The gun is skinny and light as hell so I pretty much forget that it's there. However, "packs a punch" is not how I'd describe any .380acp so, there's that.

I have used an all-steel J-frame in a nice leather ankle holster as well, and while you'll be more aware that it's there as opposed to a gun like the LCP, .38spl +P loads certainly have the advantage over the "9mm set to stun". [wink] Good luck in your decision.

when I was young enough and thin enough to get to my ankles, my ankle holster carried a model 36 "chiefs special"

For me, a j-frame, as I wear properly fitting jeans and slacks. I love my G26 but pistols always print around the ankle on me.

Ruger lcr, ruger sp101, j frame.

"Send it" like chinalfr from my can attached to a string from another can in the lair of the dark lord kramdar.

Kahr PM40 in a Galco Ankle Holster Its like its not even there. I use it everyday with no problems. Secure fit. Obviously it is a person to person basis, but I am not a huge person (5'8, 150lbs) and I think it conceals real well. I also don't wear skinny jeans...
