Yeah Trump is definitely on the same level as Biden. JFC.

You're right, we totally shouldn't hold shitty politicians doing shitty shit, following the political tradewinds, accountable. As long as its your guy shitting on the constitution, setting legal precedents for the confiscation of private property without compensation, its cool?

Sorry for breaking up the sleepy joe, alzheimers, china joe etc etc etc jokes with some critical thought.

Yes, what Trump did was not good, but there's another thread (or three) for that. Bringing it up here comes across as deflection from Ho & Joe's actions.

Everyone here called out Trump for Bumpstocks (which BTW are legal again). Banning BSs was shitty. But in no way equivalent to an attempt to ban homemade firearms in entirety, require BGCs everywhere and have red flag laws all while appointing a f***ing antigun cabbage to the ATF.

It was critical thought three years ago. After the third or fourth post today it sounds sophomoric.

I think its a valid point that needs to be made though. Everything we're seeing here is fallout from the lesser of two evils strategy.

Yeah, make more sleepy joe and the ho jokes, that's clearly working for the maga crowd.

You guys all voted for the guy who conducted himself politically like a 16 year old girl, and now you're mad at me for pointing out his failures that are directly responsible for the installment of current regime.

Lol, watching this clown show live... none of this is enforceable.

"we're going to release a proposal on ghost guns in 30 days." Ok, then what? Idiot.

This mongo didn't even say anything about banning imports, which was a layup for him to actually accomplish.

i saw such devices in the $50k area, at $4k it is quite amazing, except of the part

SEND IN YOUR GREEN PART

Once your “Green” part is complete, send it in to your sintering service provider such as Matterhackers where parts are debinded and sintered in a high heat, pure hydrogen atmosphere resulting in pure 316L Stainless Steel.
1380°C sintering temperatures result in parts that can withstand 550°C

why does it need pure hydrogen treatment and not just a 1400deg oven?

"Just swap in the LABS GEN 2 Experimental Extruder, print your part, send it in for final sintering, and receive your solid part back in the mail"

Think of it like welding. If it's in air, you potentially get inclusions, etc. that weaken the part. Probably could use any number of gasses to shield, though the Hydrogen might be selected because it will bind with whatever is off-gassing from the part.

say, an oven with a nitrogen is very easy to produce at home - but - why hydrogen? i am not a chemist, but, a hot oven like that filled with pure hydrogen? daamn.
also - what would be a percentage of possible inclusions, in the oven with almost no oxygen? what material do they print with? is it something generic or proprietary?

the idea of a metal 3d printer in $4k range is still, well, quite fascinating. and not just for guns, actually, mostly not for guns at all.
except of dealing with hydrogen bombs in the process. :)
