anyone doing any Black bear hunting this november into december? What are the best spots generally? Any other advice?

Well you can’t bait, nor can up you use anything thing that might attract them.
Corn fields are a good bet early season. At this point I expect most of the standing corn is down.

Plenty of good bear hunting here in the Berkshires. My Son got a 300# male opening day.

Next to my trash cans would be a good spot. They like the bird feeder as an appetizer, then they move on to the main course which is the contents of my trash cans.
My neighbor has a few in his living room, fresh from the taxidermist.
In all seriousness, the Hilltowns of Western MA are loaded with bears. The nearer you are to CT border the more you will find. CT does not have bear hunting so they just relocate the population north of the border here in MA. I have seen them releasing them not far from my house up on the paved road. Thanks Lamont.........

Bears are complete nuisance up here (Berkshire’s) Almost hit one with my vehicle recently. They are literally everywhere…raiding anyone that foolishly decides to leave their garage outside….

My neighbor decided that he was no longer going to be foolish and moved his trash cans into his garage. Bear crashed in, trashed his garage AND his truck.
I leave my trash outside so they have no desire to come inside.

The only place I've ever seen a bear in MA is the berkshires. And I've hunted a lot and a lot there and only saw 1 over the years.
I suggest trying there.....but plan on scouting a lot to find food and shit.

I’m aware. Your profile says Merrimack Valley so I guessed NY. I just though it would be a good reminder to to Mass hunters.
Have you tried a honey or bacon burn? That’s what I would try if I lived in a free state.
