Was window shopping online and I saw this.

Blue Book of Gun Values 43rd Edition by Zachary R. Fjestad & Lisa

I almost bought it, but then I wondered how accurate it would be. Seems to be a lot of factor like where you live, what case is on the SC docket, etc. how much did the value of an AR change the day after sandy hook?

Think it’s a waste of money?

I think it’s good for older collectibles and rare guns I wouldn’t buy it to get the value on a Glock

It used to be invaluable for gun buyers. Chock full of information and the prices were pretty accurate. Condition grading is very informative. Often times a seller's opinion of good condition is nowhere near the book's version.
But for the last few years the used gun values don't seem to reflect real world prices.
