Yup, mine with ten rounds will go in with the slide closed but really has to be forced to the point where I don't like doing it.
For some reason one mag is worse than the other and I can't figure out exactly why.
Not much can be done as to modifying the follower or base, just not a lot of extra material.

When I swapped parts around the problem followed the spring, though they both appear to be identical.

So I decided to just cut a coil off the bottom of the more problematic spring, which did make
a noticeable improvement but still needs a pretty good squeeze with ten rounds.
The mag still functions normally, last round feeds fine.
