Now All I need is an m-9 and grenade launcher.

Its brand new, got a very good price from First Defense (big thums up btw), it came with the sights (ghost ring). I most likley will get a Knoxx Specops stock for it soon.

I'm looking at getting one myself. How does it compare to the Remington 870? (I know the Remington is basically the most popular 12 gauge, but the Mossbergs do quite well for themselves.)

Some people swear by the 870, others by the 590 that's an age old battle, so I won't go there now. They did have an 870 at the store today. There are a couple of good comparisons on the web.
