Hey, NES.

After weeks of ardent searching for a non-absurd price for a GP100, I came across someone out of state willing to sell a 2002 6" Stainless GP100 with an FFL transfer.

It's used but appears to be in good shape. Prior owner did an excellent job of cleaning it prior to sale. There are a a couple of minor scuffs, but I am not going to try to buff them out because this is a workhorse, not a show piece. Lock up is tight, timing looks good, no overly sensitive hammer drop.

Hopefully I will get a chance to put some rounds down the range with it this weekend!

Somehow, when I think Ruger firearms, the LAST thing I think of is "showpiece". Let S&W and Colt make the fancy engraved pieces - Rugers are just plain made to take a beating and keep working. And working.

Congrats on the new wheelgun. A .357 may be the most versatile handgun out there.

Nice. I've got one from '88 that I picked up in a trade basically brand new. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Congrats on your purchase! I'm with ntomsw - just purchased a virtually new 4". Love it. Joining a club and researching holsters as we speak. Any GP owners want to advise for holster for the GP.
