Bought a G26 today!

I have a Blade Tech NANO IWB for mine and it works great. The best option for IWB versatility though seems to be the Raven concealment holster, but the wait times on those is best described as "just order it and forget you ordered it and some day it might come in". Try to find yourself some 12 round prebans if you can, although they're rare. Find a set of sights that you like to replace the factory ones. I haven't done mine yet but stock Glock sights are definitely best described as marginal. There are a myriad of sights out there by different companies.

I use a Comp tac C-Tac IWB holster and I have warren/sevigny night sights on it. It's green up front and dim orange in the back.

The C-Tac holster can fit all the 9mm Glocks so if you want to switch it up you can.
I use those Warren Sevigny sights on all my carry guns.

I usually add pearce grip to all my glock magazine. It will allow me to have full grips on the sub-compact glock.

Other than optional stock sight upgrade, enjoy your glock at the range. [smile]

I use a CompTac MTac IWB holster (slide version because I also carry a 19), Pearce mag extensions...and trijcon night sites. It's a nice carry gun. [grin]

A crossbreed supertuck fan here. I also have a VMII I love.

You want mags, lots and lots of mags. I'd get some pre ban G17 mags too.

I bought Glock 18 magazines for mine.

I am seriously thinking of getting a Crimson Trace for mine while that group discount and 50 dollar rebate thing is still going on. Can't go wrong for 125 bucks net.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Gun came with night sights an owb Galco leather holster and magazine finger extensions.
I like the Comp-tac holsters.
Is there a better Mag release?

Favorite holster for my G26 is a FIST IWB Kydex. Options I have are the Pearce grip extenders, and the Crimson Trace rear activated laser... Love them both. The G26 is only second to the G19, which I will get a Crimson Trace rear activated laser for before the $50 rebate expires at the end of June.

Congrats on your G26, they are very, very nice....

You already have night sights. Swap in a G17 smooth trigger, NY-1 trigger spring and a "-" connector and you're good to go. A few per-ban hi-caps, some ball ammo and practice. The IWB is up to you, whatever feels best.
It's a great carry gun and easy to shoot well. I carry Speer Gold Dot 124 grain +Ps in mine.

I put in the G17 smooth trigger in my G19's, not my G26.
For me it's only useful if you're shooting the gun a lot which I don't with the G26.

I would never put a NY-any trigger spring in any of my glocks. It increases your trigger pull. Not sure why anyone would ever want that.

I finally got the Raven Phantom for my P2000SK. It's quite nice though I only have it set up for OWB so far. I have taken the clips off and tried it IWB just to see how comfortable it is and it's not bad. However, I think the fact that it doesn't flex means it might cause some pressure points.

I'll probably get one of these for it at some point: http://rlcompanyusa.stores.yahoo.net/answeriwbs.html

Great choice, I love mine. Don't have a lot of experience with diff holsters, but my crossbreed supertuck is a great option.

Also great accys, extended mag release, extended slide release.

Awesome choice with the G26 with the night sights. I use a Bianchi 100 Professional, costs about $45. Not easy to put on and adjust, but once it is in position it is very comfortable. Also I recommend a GAP floorplate.

The Comp-Tac MTAC is very comfortable, and so much so that it can go literally unnoticed, but - like many of the better IWB holsters - it requires you to undo your pants and dedicate two hands to holster up.
If you have to holster and unholster a lot during the course of your day, you might find the Comp-Tac Infidel with the belt clip to be a lot more convenient.
The belt clip Infidel is fast on and fast off, one-handed, and with no adjustment to your pants required. It even works for AIWB, and carries better - IMO - than does the dedicated AIWB Comp-Tac Two O'Clock.
It's not as comfortable as an MTAC, but an MTAC is not as convenient either.
Buy both, and you'll see.

I've carried glocks for years and I think they are great pistols. However, if you are having trouble concealing the HK, you might want to look at a single stack 9mm instead. The G26 is small, but it's thick - so it will tend to print.

You want to get the VickersTactical/TangoDown GMR-001 extended mag release. (GMR-002 for those with the 45ACP and 10mm frames.)

its slightly longer than stock but shorter than the Glock factory extended release. Its got smoothed edges and I find its just the perfect length and does not catch on my clothes or release prematurely. I have them on my 17/19/26.

Oh and +1 for FIST holsters. I use a Fist Kydex ultrathin K8 tuckable molded for G19...sometime setup for appendix, sometimes for strongside. Holds the G26 too and the G17 with a little bit of tape over the cant screws so it doesnt scratch the slide. Great holsters.
