I bought my first 45. A gen 2 Glock 21. I love this thing. For some reason, I can hold and aim it better than a Glock 17. I initially wanted a gen 3 but the finger groove passed me off with the grip.

I thought reloads where fine as long as you aren't shooting straight lead. I honestly thought any jacketed or plated bullets where good to go.

Even straight lead is fine. Between my father, two brothers and two of my uncles there are 8 glocks between them. All shoot home-cast lead. These are factory Glock barrels too. I think if you do a little searching on the intarwebs you will find plenty of people shooting lead through Glocks.

I really want a G34...

Lead is only a problem if you foul it really badly and then shoot a jacketed round.

You'd have to be really really fouled though.

Your's looks a lot nicer than mine, wait until you carry it every day for a few years.

If you'll notice, my front site popped off a few weeks ago somewhere. I'm going to leave the slide up @ Bob's for Jack to fix and take the slide off my other G21, the one without the Crimson Trace Grips.

Glock's are the Timex of hand guns, they take a lickin, and keep on tickin.

Totally untrue. No lead bullets reloads are just fine with jacketed bullets.

Great gun and very accurate. Remember, No reloads!

i wish they made the .45 auto in the same frame as the g19 and g23 , the g38 is the gap, bummer , love the 21's though!
