Bought my first gun today

My thanks go out to Ralph at Four Seasons for helping me buy my first gun today—an M&P9.

Decided it wasn't worth continuing to obsess over getting the exactly perfect thing on the first go. As everyone told me today, "Don't worry, you'll be buying more."

After I get accurate with this one, I'll be back. Now to sign up for the Shoot-B-Q...

I did buy a box of 9mm, as well as a box of .40 and .45 for when the opportunity to shoot one/either of those comes around. We'll see how long that lasts me.

Not sure, but I may be out to see the in-laws in Western Mass next weekend, and I got a membership to the S&W Shooting Center when I was there to try out the M&P9. So maybe then; I'd like to put a few rounds through it before the 25th.

I'm not a member anywhere in the Boston area yet, but I've been looking—the search just became a much more pressing issue. Not sure where I want to join up yet...but I understand that Braintree Rifle & Pistol has a new member orientation tomorrow (er...today) at 8:30 am. Might be worthwhile to stop by...
