Are brand new Glocks able to be sold in Mass now ? I went into a local gun shop and the top row in his cabinet had all new Glocks and they did not say for "Law Enforcement Only".

"Hi fellas, I'm new here. I'd like to buy some non MA compliant firearms and high cap mags. Anyone know where I can get them? I promise, it's totally cool and I swear I won't tell anyone you told me."

Are you referring to the OP? I don't think he was asking for tips on where to buy, but rather reporting what he saw. Every new shooter in MA struggles to figure out what the deal is with Glocks.

Maybe, but it was more a tongue in cheek response. That said, even though I've only been a NES member for a little while, I see someone who isn't green, who only registered in the past 19 days bringing up things like that...makes me wonder.

Nah, the AG's drones have been on NES for years now. No need for them to create a new account to find those that won't toe the line.

<no, I am NOT kidding>

That's what I thought but when I asked him he said he could sell them.... unless he thought I was a LEO (which I didn't say I was)

So confused. He wouldn't sell them to you if you were LEO?

I thought only the shop would get in trouble for this, not the individual buying the firearm. Therefore, Gregg (or "Martha")[tinfoil] wouldn't be able to entrap anyone here.

If he will sell it to you, buy it while you can since you are clearly going to get him shut down by telling all of the internetz.

So bummed the other day when visiting Mass Firearms School - Nice place, great helpful people and selection BTW - and saw the nice new Gen 4 Glocks with low prices. All clearly marked LEO only. Doh!!!!!

I've been to a shop that had Gen 3 and 4 glocks and saw no signs but the tag on the firearms themselves said No Ma/ LE only.

This has been said on here many times before. It is not illegal to possess a new Glock in MA. It is not illegal for a private party to sell one to another private party. However, dealers can't sell Glocks made after a certain date (I think it's sometime in 1998) because the AG has deemed they don't comply with her "safety" regulations. So if somebody offers you a good price on a Glock you want, go ahead and buy it. You won't be breaking any laws as long as you have a Class A LTC.
