For all my fellow Officers out there........

I signed up for an account with Brownell's, and checked the box asking if I was a LEO. Come to find out, Brownell's offers roughly a 20% discount to us as LEO's. I just realized how much money I can save buying parts for my first 1911 build. Anyway, thought I would pass it on. Be safe.

Brownells has a huge list of what qualifies for discount, but only discount level. LE< veteran, FFL holder, NRA instructor and others - the list is huge. It's more of a surcharge for some people than a discount :). I emailed and they coded my account to show the discount prices (you know they have done this when you see the regular price crossed out and a lower price under it).

Brownells only allows "one discount" so you can't stack them. I had to ask them. [laugh]

The discount is the same for LEO, C&R FFL, FFL, Mil, etc.
