My first nand gun is a Browing Buckmark vintage 1985.
Need help making it run properly. I’ve never replaced anything other then mags.
Should I replace springs, ejector, other?
Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks
E

Have you disassembled and cleaned the gun? If it’s an ‘85, I’m guessing you’re not the original owner - any ideas on how many rounds have been through it?

Like yours, I purchased my Buck Mark used with no idea of it's history. At first I was kind of unimpressed with it. Mine went from functional to complete failure to fire literally from one range trip to the next. After watching a bunch of videos online about Buck Mark failure to fire, I disassembled it farther than the owner's manual suggests and detail cleaned everything with special attention to the firing pin and the little channel it sits in. Once back together, properly cleaned and oiled, it suddenly began to preform flawlessly and became an absolute joy to shoot. Also, pay attention to the buffer pad and replace that if it's all boogered up. Like my S&W 41, I now only run CCI Standard Velocity 40 gr 22LR in it. I don't know if that's a problem for you or not. I think these little guys just don't like to run dirty.
