I posted awhile back about getting opinions on carrying a Buck 112 in a Horizontal sheath. As much as it seemed like the way to go it was not much of an improvement over standard vertical sheath carry. I did some reading and thought I would consider putting a pocket clip on the 112. I’m sure you guys are wondering why I’m so determined to make a 112 my EDC. Especially with the quality options out there already for pocket clip knives. I like the fact that Buck lock backs are about indestructible, give that nostalgic “Buck Knife” effect and are American made by a company with a strong mission statement. Also this particular 112 holds some extra meaning for me. I did some looking and found that Leroy Remer at Triple - R - Knives can do some neat things with a Buck lock back. I’ve been carrying it everyday very comfortably. I’ll admit that I did send Leroy a Buck 500 to be given his magic touch and put a clip on it. The 500 being a bit thinner will add to the lock back disappearing in my pocket. Check out the pictures and tell me what you guys think. Leroy Remer does some great work and was a pleasure to do business with.
