Looking to see if others have dealt with this. I went to clear my MP 9 just now. I dropped the mag, then proceeded to rack the slide and eject the round in the chamber. Only the casing dropped out, powder went everywhere, and the bullet was left in the barrel. The ammo is cheap aluminum case blazer. The bullet came out easily enough and besides some left over powder in the barrel the gun seems fine. Is this just a case of shitty ammo? I'm a relatively new gun owner(January) and I haven't used this particular ammo before. Also if it is simply the ammo(which Im assuming it is) would this indicate the entire box could be bad?

Sounds like maybe the bullet didn't get setback enough when it was made and when you loaded it into the firearm it jammed into the rifling. However, you probably would've noticed this loading it into the magazine and it most likely wouldn't have fit in the first place. I'd definitely do the thumb test with the rest of that ammo and make sure the neck tension is safe.

Had this happen once while loading bulk winchester .22 into my 10/22 mag. Casing got pinched while I was loading. Bullet didn't come out a the way thankfully, avoiding a rotary mag full of powder

I would try all the others by squeezing the bullet down into the case. If they move at all by hand then send them back or pull the bullets for when you start reloading. I'm no blazer fan.
