Does anyone have any good info or links to good articles on which is better and why?

Tks.

I went with a rifle length WOA 18 inch "SPR" for my game gun. From what I read 18 inch is the shortest barrel to use with a rifle length gas tube. I guess it depends on what you want it for, why an 18 incher?

I was asking for a friend who wants me to help him build a rifle.

If he is going after a MK12 clone, I am fairly certain they use rifle length gas tubes and 1:7 twist rates, even though other manufactures are marketing barrels as an "SPR", they have mid length and an intermediate systems, 1:8 twists and so on.

Like I said before, I went with a WOA 18" rifle length system, I wanted the smoothest setup I could get with an 18 for shooting IPSC style rifle matches.

I ordered mine from Rainier Arms. http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=449

I put a rifle length system on my WOA SPR 18" barrel only because I wanted the best sight radius for the BUIS. It looks and functions FINE. [smile]
