I own a mousegun. I said it, I finally thought about it, and I have decided to explore my options in getting something a bit more.. substantial?

I was hoping to get a .45 as I seem to be a bit more accurate then with a .40, I don't want a 9mm as I already have a .380 Sig P232 and want to "step it up" a bit more.

I like Sigs but the only other gun that I enjoy shooting is a P220 which isn't really going to work on my ankle. I have a fullsize Glock in 40 and the angle of the weapon and the trigger on it drives me mad. I can't stand that little safety!

The big catch is that I'm basically broke right now so I am just in the thinking stages. The Sig P245 caught my eye but I've heard bad things. I have taken many fullsize pistols out in many shapes and sizes and calibers and never seemed to find one that felt the same as the P220.

HELP! (Sigs are too darn expensive!)

Thanks for your opinions and thoughts!

If you can hold off, a S&W M&P45c may fit the bill....If you're seriously thinking about ankle carry, you may want to consider a different train of thought: Look into a S&W 642. Light, "ankle-able", super-affordable and with the +P offerings out there - plenty powerful. I carry Speer Gold Dot 135gr +P's and they hit like a freight train....[wink]
