cerakote, duracoat??

I have a M&P 9c, primarily for FA classes, so many sweaty hands handling this for the past couple years have produced a very fine- even hard to see pitting on the top of the slide. I'm wondering if the cerakote might be a good remedy for this problem. I've never used one of these baked on gun coats. anyone have any comments or insights?

i'd suggest gun-kote. i can vouch for it.
ceracoat - don't know never tried.
duracoat - not as durable as gun-kote that much i know.
