Hey everyone. My lovely lady just got me a target adjustable sight for my equally lovely Beretta 92, and I was just wondering if there was any way to swap out the iron sight with it without having to go out and buy the special tool? I probably will only be doing this once, so It seems like a waste to buy it, you know? Thanks!

It can be done without a pusher, but it is not for the faint of heart.
The old sight MUST be drifted out from RIGHT to LEFT and the new sight drifted in from LEFT to RIGHT.
If in doubt, take it to a smith and get it done correctly.

Might have to remove the safety then. I don't have my 92FS handy right now, but I've detail stripped it, and I don't think the safety is too difficult to remove. Are you doing anything with the front sight? (It's part of the slide, obviously. just wondering if you're putting something Hi-Viz in/on it.)

Honestly, I haven't looked into front sight options. Since its part of the slide, I thought there was nothing I could do aside from pointing it where I want a hole and pulling the trigger!

All right, the safety (in safe) isn't in the way, and my dad is the kind of person who's not faint of heart. So, hammer and punch later, new sight is in with 0 damage! Woo!
