Changing titles?

I've tried changing the title of the 1911 group buy thread a number of times (to reflect different status of the buy) but it won't change. I've done it before so I know how to but for some reason it wont take anymore. Did something change?

After you click edit, you need to click on "go advanced". I just did it to one of mine just to check it. It worked just fine for me.

Don't click on the thread. Go to the forum that contains the thread and double-click next to the title (not on it, as this will just open the link to the thread). The title will change to an edit box and you can make your changes. When you're done, press the enter key to save.

Tried this trick and it does not seem to work for me.

There's a time limit after which you can't change titles. It doesn't apply to mods.
