Chiappa 1911-22 pistol

Interesting. I am having a Model 1911A1 .22lr pistol being built right now. It's a Colt .22 Conversion Kit being mounted on a Remsport frame. A bit more expensive than what the Chiappa was listed at but it is being built to my general specifications.
"Chiappaloy"? Sounds cheap. Remember, when you stray from the 1911 frame, you may also find yourself unable to take advantage of the millions of accessories available for it. This gun could be using proprietary parts in its frame which could make even a simple trigger job a real problem.
