I have a .22 Chipmunk Rifle with a lot of sentimental value, but without a bolt assembly or trigger assembly. These were taken out for repair at some point and then lost to time. It was one of the original rifles manufactured by the Chipmunk Manufacturing Company in Oregon. The company has since switched hands several times, so this leads me to a two part question...

1) Does anyone know if I could use parts from rifles made by any of the other manufacturers of the Chipmunk Rifle (Oregon Arms or others) as replacements? I've talked to someone at Keystone (the current Chipmunk manufacturer) and he said that I'd probably have to find something made in Oregon, but that still leaves a few manufacturers.

2) Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find these parts?

I'm running out of ideas and am thinking of buying a complete Chipmunk for parts, but can't even find any available made by the Chipmunk Manufacturing Company. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So keystones has a different design vs the original.

I poked around a little. I don't know anything about this site or what have you but found this

Thanks, mac. I had not seen that one. I'd hate to sacrifice a rifle in such great condition, but might have to do so. And also just hope that the parts for Oregon Arms are interchangeable with Chipmunk Manufacturing.

Wish I could tell you what parts would fit. I'm shocked though the current owners of chipmunk couldn't help. Honestly it's such a basic design there has to be a bolt that will work.

I understand the sentimental value. Went through that myself. Although I ended up buying a rifle to replace one that had "value" to me but did not function anymore. I rebuilt my "22s of my youth " collection to some degree few years ago. Only thing I do not have the time I thought I would to shoot them again.

You might give Mike at Guns & Gun Parts in W. Springfield a call. If he doesn't have one, he might have good input on where to look. He's found some off-beat parts for me before.

You may need to cannibalize one. I feel for you, I've got one (well, I guess my 7 year old has it) from when I was 9. Serial number is 3xxx.
If you need to go that route, they seem to be pretty inexpensive.
