Chris Pratt criticised for 'white supremacist' T-shirt

I have shirts that say "Liberalism is a mental disorder", "If this flag offends you I'll help you pack", "Stand for your colors or find another flag", "Just stand", "In case you forgot you put your hand HERE for the National Anthem", "F*ck your feelings", "Socialism is pretty f*cking stupid", "The three most useless things are an empty gun, a dull knife, and a liberal" and a few others of similar sentiments. If I'm not going to work in scrubs I'm in jeans, boots and one of the above shirts or similar. I generally choose my attire based on how offensive I feel like being on a given day. It's been a while since I wore a simple Harley Davidson t-shirt.

Chris Pratt is facing criticism over a T-shirt he was pictured wearing featuring a controversial symbol.


The writing and snake combo on its own is depicted on the Gadsden flag; a symbol created by Christopher Gadsden, a Charleston-born brigadier general in the Continental Army.

It came to prominence during the Revolutionary War of the US by colonists who wanted independence from Great Britain.

I don't think it's still ours. I think we lost a few decades ago and just haven't realized it yet.

As long as the silent majority stays silent, it's over. Perfect example is the mandatory in-person 'unconscious bias' training we had to do at work last week. 2 hours of being lectured to by a black woman about how racist and sexist we are even if we don't realize it. Everyone has to go, but the class is really only for white, straight men. We all sit there, all knowing it's all bullshit but no one dares to say anything or even disagree politely with any material presented for fear of being labeled a racist, sexist, homophobe, bigot and losing our job. Being rational, sane, and traditional is a huge liability now, unless you keep it to yourself. Disagree with or speak out against any of this insanity going on now and even if the CEO actually agrees with you, you'll lose your job because the company is too afraid to appear as if 'diversity and inclusivity' aren't more important than profit. Maybe I'm part of the problem for not being willing to lose my job to tell the moron presenter that he class is horseshit, but I have kids to feed. And that's really the crux of it, the liberals have us by the balls because they've convinced corporate america that if you don't play along they'll wreck you...and they've successfully wrecked a lot of people.

I'm cynical and pessimistic by nature, but I really don't think this country will ever look anything like it did when I was a kid, and that's seriously depressing.

The trend in this country has been to the left economically for quite some time, and we are absolutely losing the culture war. There's no doubt about it.
