Anyone know where I can buy a clay target thrower in Massachusetts? I'm looking for a MTM EZ Throw MR Clay Target Thrower unless someone can recommend a better manual thrower.

I think I got mine at Walmart. Also I believe Dick's Sporting sells them--that's where I usually get my clays because around here Wally World sells the throwers, but they don't sell the clays [rolleyes]

I searched the Walmart site online and it said the throwers weren't available in the store - only online. Since you guys say they do sell them in the store I guess I'll take a ride over to the local Wally's. Thanks.

Hey,
I've got a Trius one-step I'll sell you for $50.
Never used, just assembled. Mint.
new one runs around a c note.
PM me if you are interested.

Dicks... I suggest also stopping at home depot for some flat and angle stock for bulking up the frame. The under $100 throwers will torque the heck out of themselves, twisting the bolts and stress fracturing the bolt points. Mine is bolted down to 3 concrete pillars. I advise a strong mounting to get real good distance and reliability, but if you do so the force that isn't exerted on the pigeon is transferred to the frame.

I don't remember the brand name of the tripod thrower I bought 10 years ago for $60, but it's worked pissa. When you're done using it, you can use the handle/wrench to relieve the tension on the spring for storage.

I also have a wooden hand thrower that can really launch the clays if you get your trajectory and anle right.

I would take him up on this offer!

The Trius One-Step is great.

I've had one for 2-3 years and love the thing.
