Clubs near Westborough, MA with indoor range and Long range rifle

Hello All,

I am new here, and looking to join a Club in the Westborough area.

I am looking to get into deer hunting, however I have interests in target and Trap/Skeet shooting as well.

I have been looking around online at some of the clubs in the area, but cant seem to find one that has a rifle range over 200 yards, as well as an indoor pistol range . Are there any clubs with these facilities in the area? and if not, what are some of the clubs in this area that you all recommend.

I will be heading out to riverside this weekend for their open house, and will most likely head over to check out marlborough afterwards.

I have some family friends who are members of Southborough Rod and Gun, so I have already had the opportunity to use their facilities.

I am really open to anywhere in the immediate area, and the biggest requirement in my opinion for a club is that it has decent, friendly members.

Please let me know what you all think.

I'm a newish member at Hopkinton sportsmans.

Friendly members, yes. Everyone I have encountered, including the President are very easy going and easy to be around.
200 yard range, 100 yards, pistol pits, skeet, trap and sporting clays.

Indoor range was a big plus for me, Hopkinton's is well kept.

Membership process very easy and taken care of in a timely manner.

Downsides, no steel core ammo on rifle range, so I have to feed my surplus M44 more expensive lead core in lieu of the surplus steel core which is far cheaper to shoot.

Okay, I'll have to check out hopkinton sportsmans association and SR&G again. Do either of those clubs have any upcoming open to the public events?

I'm on my phone but check Hopkinton sportsmans website and there is a calendar with event schedule.

If you come out to Southborough on Sunday, between 1-4, there will be trap and skeet at the top of the hill, and people to give you the nickel tour.

Our outdoor range goes to 100 yards, but 300 will be a toughie in that area.

consider checking out Harvard if you want 300. 600 yards is available in Reading, but getting in can be a "process".

I have heard about Harvard. But I don't think I can justify driving that far every weekend. Oh we'll.

And thanks mister happy. I will most likely take you up on that. Pats are at 4:25 so that would work out well.

Whew. Going to be a gun club filed weekend.
