Just thought I'd mention my experiences dealing with the ATF. I had an 01FFL from 90 to 99 and never got a call or visit from ATF. I let it lapse for a few years and then decided to get the 03 FFL. I think it wasn't more than 6 months later I get a call from guess who , and they want to meet at my home to check my storage and bound book!

I probably could/should have refused the home visit, but I didn't. I can't remember now who showed up or even whether it was a male or female (I'm old and forgetful ) but the visit lasted 5 minutes or so, no issues, and I never had another call in the next 8 years I maintained an 03 FFL.
