The Maynard Rod and Gun Club will be hosting a Colonial shoot on Saturday, June 4th. Come on down and see members of the Sudbury,Stow,Lincoln and other Militias. The Colonials will be dressed in full kit, competing with period Muskets.

This event is open to the public as spectators.

It's being organized by the Sudbury Militia. I shot in last year's event with my Bess, and it was a load of fun, though a big mess cleaning, as anyone who shoots BP knows!

Those elusive Redcoats... they were not present last year, and I've heard they won't be here this year....

Guess it's tough to "spot" them!
