Colt Commander, Burl and Bullfrog pics.

A Colt Commander in .45 which went through a transformation. Kart barrel, EGW bushing under Heinie SlantPro sights and a serrated slide. The internals are all barstock from E2. Nick was meticulous in his stippling of the front strap, MSH and EGW grip safety. The project was finished in IonBond with hard chrome barrel and hammer. Crystal made some wonderful burl grips. New holster maker Jason Ingle USMC retired made the OWB holster tanned to the a natural dark brown with African bullfrog accent as the client requested. I like the holster and the stitching is very nice. The pistol slide in and out perfectly. Two Wilson magazines were also Ion Bonded to complete the project. What do you think of Jason's work?

Jason's holster looks fantastic. Seems on par with the established top end makers. That African bullfrog accent is indeed attractive.

and african bullfrog is a new one on me. don't know if it's for me but it's different and definitely striking.
