Any of you guys pick up a new one? I held one at the LGS and the fit and finish were excellent, but much like vehicles I wait a while for a new gun model to be out before purchasing. That being said, it's a rehash of an existing model...

Yeah, I was just a sucker for the Kodiak stamp on the side, otherwise it's the same gun. And I agree, I don't even really consider .44 a big bore anymore after several years of shooting the various .500s and the .475. If I shoot more than 5 rounds of 700 grainers through a 4" S&W 500 mag I usually open up my hand.I did not notice the cylinder. Thx.
.44 mag is not too bad. I have a 3” one.
