Colt Ser 70 5.7.15 pics!

This project started as a used Colt Series 70. The slide to frame was welded and tightened, a new Kart barrel and EGW bushing fit. The internals were replaced with an Extreme sear and disco with their retro Colt ring hammer. A Caspian ejector and an EGW extractor. The Trigger is Harrison Design. The frame was checkered by good friend Pete Single. The MSH is EGW with a full blend and carry rounded butt. Grip safety is trimmed Heirloom style.Finish is a deep blue with some Nitre blue pins and screws. The barrel and hammer are hard chromed. The grips are provided by the client which add to the classic look.

I was thinking the same, but maybe that phrase has some special meaning for the owner. Who knows.
