My buddy bought a piece of land in the Bahamas. He had a shipping container converted to live in. It's actually pretty nice. It's even got granite countertops. He can add other units as needed. He's set up with a water tower for drinking etc. Waste goes into the ground, no septic or anything. That's just how they do it down there I guess. The shipping container goes down next week and will be anchored to the concrete slab when he gets there.

I like the bus.
If the craftsmanship of the remodel is high it might even be worth the price.

The insides do look really nice, don't think anyone will pay that much when the outside looks like that though...
