The extractor is held in place by the firing pin retainer. Holds both the pin and the extractor.

The extractor is the thing in the slide that extracts the case from the barrel

The ejector is the thing on the frame that ejects the extracted cartridge out of the slide.

i.e. they're two different things.

The extractor is held in place by the firing pin retainer. Holds both the pin and the extractor.

The ejector has two posts that fit into the frame. The longer one is generally notched for a cross pin that is driven in from the side. If you look carefully on a 1911, you can see this pin in the channel cut to mate with the slide. I did not see this cross pin in the video.
