Cool auto ejecting, mag fed revolver

What crap! A magazine fed revolver was developed about 20 years ago. It used proprietary ammo (triangular rather than round cases) and fed the cylinder (three shot, I believe) from a mag in the grip. This gun worked a lot better than the one posted, but still went nowhere.

Wow, rough crowd! I didn't get the idea that this guys was trying to pass this off as revolutionary, more of just tinkering for fun.... I could be wrong as I didn't read the whole back story but I'm pretty sure he's just having fun

It's not crap, it turns worthless single action revolvers into something useful. (holds up trash can lid to block incoming eggs from the SASS types)

Sorry, but I just hate unloading the things. What a pain in the ass.

That's why the SASS matches do not involve unloading/reloading. I have never understood this practice. Apparently, the SASS crowd believes that the folks in the "Old West" always carried enough loaded guns so that they never had to stoop to the rather mundane practice of loading. Loading/reloading a firearm is a very necessary skill that they seem to ignore.

I think it's cool when anyone has an oscilloscope AND a gun they've done a lot of work on, based on an idea or even on a whim. Not everything cool has to be practical or marketable or solve a big problem. A lot of times it's fun to try something despite the fact that it has limited broad utility. It's part of what makes life fun. :) This guy made something unique and different because he had an idea and wanted to try it out. That's great, and now he's got a very unique, handmade conversation piece if nothing else.

Was that the one where they called the rounds "Trounds"? Yup...
