Cowboy Up! Colt Commander

A Colt Combat Commander that started life nickel plated. The plating was stripped to reveal the carbon frame and slide. All new internals of barstock by E3 were added. A Kart barrel in .45 with an EGW add accuracy to the welded frame to slide fit. A custom Derr Precision grip safety over a Chen max bevel magwell checkered to 25lpi. A staked Yost "gold line" front sight and a Harrison Design retro rear sight. The small accent parts were color case hardened by Bobby Tyler along with the pins, screws and trigger. The grip are stag provided by the customer for the project. It should feel right at home on the range.

I really like how you did the theme. The black with the etched heat treated bare components really compliment each other.
