Nicely-done fighter by maker 'CRADDOCK'
- Lively and eye-pleasing hamon, which extends around the tip, and down the false edge! ; presume of 1095
- 8" blade ; 13" overall - blade height is 1 5/8"
- 1/4" stock
- Brend/Siska-esque double guard
- Interesting grind, with the upper false edge making its way gracefully down to meet the tip; false edge grind is polished giving a nice offset
- Black micarta handle, housing the hidden tang, has an interesting form, both nice aesthetically and grip-wise
- Execution, fit 'n finish, is quite nice...
- Few very-minor surface scuffs/scratches, only visible in the proverbial 'right light' and one's gotta look fer 'em...
- Has a sheath in the manner of those...Corbett Sigman, I believe it was.. made for Walter Brend's knives, at least back in The Day
I've had more'n a few knives, including up to 5 Brend's in the desk drawer at the same time...over the past many years, and in my humble-but-experienced
opinion, this one brings together all the elements...with grace and power...
$650. shipped to the CONUS ----> NOT anxious to part with it, so....to make it quick, reducing to $550.
