Hi all-
I've been a member of LSA for over a year and have mainly stuck with the pistol/rifle range. I've had a trap shotgun and would love to use the facilities-either the trap or skeet range (preferably both). But I don't know how to get started. My next move is to just swing by randomly on a weekend to see if I can find somebody on the ranges to talk to. But I figured if anybody here is a member and user of those ranges, maybe that'd be a good starting point.
So here I am. Putting myself out there to see if I might be able to connect with from NES who is a member of LSA.

Thanks all. By the way, I'm a normal guy with a regular 9-5 job. Not a weirdo.
Lol. Thanks all

Not a Leominster member, but a Trapezoid.

I think if you show up with a shottie, some singles (the cashier will appreciate not having to break a $20), and an open mind, you'll be welcomed.

Say, "I've never shot Trap," and someone will help you get a taste of the Orange Kool-Aid. [laugh]

If they want to take you off to a separate field, until you get the hang of it (that's what we do at my Club) don't feel bad - it's a helpful, not a punitive thing. Good shooting.

I am a member but hAve only been a few times. My friend Dave M. Is very active at the Trap fields and I'm sure would be happy to help you out.

PM me if you want to get together for some basic instruction.

Thanks. PM incoming. I don't know that I need help shooting per se, I know at least the basics and can practice. I just really need to know how the trap range works-logistics etc

I shot trap there my first time- the people were all very helpful. Just make it clear you're new and people tend to be more friendly and offer instructions.

I was in your shoes many years ago at a different club. I was amazed with the reception I was met with. Most shooting sports are surrounded by great guys who love to teach newcomers. Show up and let them know your a noob. You'll find help with no problem.

You'll find most clay shooters to be more than willing to show you the ropes. Just show up and ask for some help.

Thanks for this. I've never found that on their site. Sort of non-intuitive to find. Thanks a lot
