I have too many 10/22's, so I'm letting one go, so I can buy two more. Hmmm, yea that math works, right?

This was my first 10/22 build, but it's time to let it go. There are two main reasons 1) I've never been a fan of the Stainless Steel 2) I need to buy two more 10/22s that I will be using as loaner rifles both for Project Appleseed events and when I take friends and family to the range. I've loaned out my main rifles too many times and it's always got me stressed out. I need to get grab some stock-ish 10/22s that I'm more willing to risk getting a little more banged up.

So I have up for grabs a complete 10/22 rifle, sort of. I have ALL the parts needed to assemble a complete 10/22, but I only have an OEM stock for it. I'm asking $700. Here is the parts breakdown

Volquarsen SS Receiver $485
Clark Custom 18" Deep Fluted SS barrel $350
Kidd Silver Scalloped Bolt $159
Kidd Charging Assembly $50
Clark Custom OEM Metal Trigger guard with Trigger Job $170
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
$1214
$700

If you want to build a similar setup, you're looking at well over a thousand dollars. I'm asking $700 to account for some light marks, the age of the barrel 2k - 3k rounds, a little machining that needs to be done (more on that later), and I would like to get it gone.

Just so you are aware, I have a stock Ruger Trigger group, a BX trigger, and the Clark Custom. I took 10 pulls on all three of the triggers and here are the results with a trigger gauge

Stock Trigger
Min: 5lbs 9.8oz Max: 6lbs 6.6oz
BX Trigger
Min: 2lbs 1.3oz Max: 2lbs 4.8oz
Clark Custom
Min: 2lbs 4.5oz Max: 2lbs 8.9oz

The Clark custom is ever so slightly heavier of a pull, but you can't tell the difference in weight, the trigger is smoother in my opinion, take up is less and then you have the benefit of an adjustable overtravel screw. to match the Clark, you would need to send the BX away to Brimstone.

I also have an OEM synthetic stock or OEM wood stock if you want a stock right away. However, I would highly recommend grabbing a Victor Titan TX22 or Magpul Hunter X22, for this rifle.

NOTE: I threw the receiver on a Mill and countersunk the holes for the receiver pins, so I could use the KIDD Threaded receiver pins. I ended up screwing up and not countersinking the holes far enough. I didn't have access to the mill, so rather than attempting to line everything up again I just filed down the screws for the pins, and they sat flush. I'm including a brand-new set of receiver pins and screws. This way, you can either file the screw heads down or get it fixed. I do not have the countersink tool anymore, however, I'm assuming any 82-degree countersink will work.

AMMO:
CCI Standard Velocity shoots well out of this rifle
Aguila was more consistent
Eley Target was my goto ammo
SK Rifle Match was the absolute best groups
Wolf Target always did well, on par with the Eley, but I could never find it places that would ship to MA

Someone over on Rimfire Central Asked about some grouping pictures. So here you are.
