Does anyone have a 1930 - pre-war vz.25? Just looking for comments and suggestions. Trying to add some pre-war/ww2 bolt actions to my collection.

Not sure what your asking "exactly" but I got one of those VZ 24's. Nice rifle. Bolt action is really slick. Sights are too tiny for my eyes but I shot it at 25 yards and got excellent accuracy even though I was really close. So potential is there. Typical Mauser I would say. Not sure if it's pre 1930 but judging by its shape, which is excellent for its age, I would say its later manufacture. If your nearby I can let you try it out so you can get a feel for the Mauser action. Would help you decide if that style rifle is desirable. If you don't like it you won't have to worry about buying one before trying one.

Thanks, dude. That's really what I'm asking is opinions and comments. May I ask where you picked it up? I hear century arms has some.

I got mine a few years back from the classifieds on here. Shot it one range trip. Cleaned it and back in the safe. I didn't really get into it but that's not the rifles fault.
