Obviously bolt guns are going to suffer variable quality ammo better than an auto - Should I be concerned about de-linked MG ammo being more prone to variable charges, or other quality problems?
This is the stuff in question. It's all ball, no AP or tracer.
Disassembly notes:
3.325 COAL
Boxer primed, does not appear to be staked?
Flat base FMJ spirepoint 153.5 grains with sealant...
Fine ball powder 46.4 grains

Any idea the origin of this ammo. Any marks on the links.
M2 is what it is. It will go bang and should deliver sub 5moa.

We have been operating on the theory that it is Austrian made, French contract. No marking on the links, I'll see what markings there are on and in the crates.

The only markings on the crate. Inside, the wood is lined with cardboard, then a heavy green sealed vinyl bag containing two heavy cardboard trays, a layer seperator of the same white/brown cardboard as the crate liner, and two more trays of carts.
