DEFENSIVE PISTOL SHOOTING CLASS
OnSight Firearms Training will be hosting a Defensive Pistol Shooting Class on SATURDAY MAY 9, 2020.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RANGE. Take I-93 North or South to Exit 43, then RTE 135 North for 7.7 miles. To Dalton/Union Road.
PLEASE NOTE There is a $100 DEPOSIT upon registration.

This course is designed to introduce the beginner or intermediate shooter to the art of defensive and tactical pistol shooting. This is also a great opportunity for the advanced shooter to revist foudational skills, and experience new drills.
Start time is 8:00am. Students are expected to arrive no later than 7:45am for set up and range safety briefing.

– Drawing and re-holstering techniques
– Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills
– Search & scan / situational awareness
– Single hand techniques (right and left and transitions)
– Moving and shooting / shooting and moving

– Turning and shooting
– Cover versus concealment
– Seated position shooting
– Close range speed shooting
-Quality functional semi-automatic pistol
-5 magazines minimum
-Minimum of 600 rounds of brass cased ammunition (no steel cased ammunition)
-Belt mounted, dominant side holster / kydex holster —PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters. NO BLACKHAWK SERPA holsters. We recommend Blackpoint Tactical, Black Center Tactical, Dark Star Gear, Raven Concealment, G-Code and C&G Holsters. Please visit our website for links to our favorite gear manufacturers.
-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.
-Sturdy pants belt at least 1.5” wide
-Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.
-Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.
-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
-Earmuffs and earplugs
-Notebook and pen for note taking
-Humble willing to learn attitude
