Defensive shotgun question

Hi everybody. I know this sounds silly, but what kind of a shotgun do you guys think I should buy to defend against North Koreans? I'm getting my F.I.D. soon, and I was going to go to either Dick's or Bass Pro to buy a shotgun, so I just wanted some opinions before I went. I was thinking either some sort of Remington 870, or the Remington 887 Nitro Mag.
 
Your the reason its so hard to get an LTC in Newton. I bet you put that on your FID app too.

On that note, get the black full length mag 870 Express from Four Seasons.

Sorry, but I'm unable to figure out whether he is joking about defending against North Koreans, or whether he really thinks that North Koreans could invade the US.

No, I'm not that Spartan756 guy, and yes, I was joking. With the whole North Korea thing going on in the news, I tried to make a funny, but apparently not that many people have a sense of humor anymore.
 
Hahahaha. Thanks for that laugh Timber. And MassMark, thanks for the opinion. That's a pretty sweet looking gun. And from seeing some of those pictures, I have to ask a question. Does the Assault-Weapons Ban only apply to rifles, or shotguns as well?

IIRC pump action shotguns can neverbe considered an assault weapon subject to the ban. Semi's have rules around what's allowable and not. Either search the site or wait for someone more knowledgable.

In terms of your sarcasm. Some people only get it of you include a smiley.

Mark, do you know where they sell Tacticals? I was at Bass Pro today, and they only had the regular SuperNova in RealTree. Do you think Four Seasons would have it?
 
While your at the gun shop take a look at the benelli m1 or m2 super 90.The buisness end is pretty impressive during controlled rapid fire.I like my m1 super 90.
 
this thread really belongs more in OT or null than firearms at this point.

Oh, and ... Winchester 1300. I'm the only one that likes them apparently. :)
 
lol. I think a few more clues in the post would have set off the sarcasm detectors. It was pretty dry and seemed pretty serious. I had a good laugh though!
