I just bought a M&P 9mm range kit and the gun is capable of firing with magazine out ( lucky me). I thought all Mass guns had the magazine disconnect. The trigger does not feel like 10lbs either. I was comparing it to my sigma which I know is 9 1/2 lbs ( gauged it 3 weeks ago) and it feels much lighter I'm going to have to test it. I have to borrow my fathers gauge, so I can't do it know. Is it possible I got a free state gun?

No, they don't have to have an LCI. There are Mass SKUs with and without the LCI.

You may have been sold a free state gun by the dealer. If that's the case, whatever you do, don't out the dealer.
