i had some dark days in my life like anyone else, things were pretty rough for me. i couldn't pay my rent and had no choice but to sell my prized possession. to this day i regret my decision. it was a blued dan wesson .41 magnum, 8 inch vent rib barrel in a soft leather case. i really want it back. i can afford to buy it back for a reasonable cost if you're willing to part with it. please contact me and lets talk.

Marley, there are a LOT of Vermont gun-oriented groups on Facebook. I'd say start with "802 GunTalk" and "802 Gun's & Ammunition". Those are the two biggest.

Good luck. I know what it's like to want to get your gun back. I was lucky; I did. I hope you do, too.

"Don't get attached to anything you can't walk away from in less than 30 seconds if you feel the heat's around the corner." sorry i just had to post this.

Stranger things have happened. I bought a mix-master Telecaster in a NoVa pawn shop in 2004. In 2013 I put it up on eBay - the buyer was the gentleman who had pawned it a decade before. Below is his email; hope it serves as encouragement.
I made this guitar. I am a Luthier. I got a loan for it from the Fairfax, Va pawnshop because the guy behind the counter knew me and I was good for the money. As it was i defaulted. If I recall correctly the body is a Fernandes Tele body. The neck I purchased on Ebay and came with reproduction Fender logos, serial numbers etc. on the headstock There wasn't much of a finish placed over them. When i saw your listing I knew right away that was the one i let get away. Actualy was building it for a customer who backed out. I kept it then the story began,.. thanks! JDS

I once traded a gun to a guy for another gun, and without knowing it in advance, he had owned that exact gun before, but let it go a few years before the trade happened, talk about a coincidence. [laugh] When he said "I owned this gun a few years ago." I was like "your shitting me? Well it still works great!"

In 1987 I sold a Walther PPK to a guy here in MA. Shortly afterwards I regretted selling the pistol. In the fall of 2014 I was at Pelham Fish and Game with a friend. I saw this guy and I was sure it was the guy I sold the PPK to. I approached him and sure enough it was the same guy. He still had the PPK and hadn't shot it in years. I asked about buying it back and he said no problem. He was super cool and sold it back to me for the same price I sold it to him for. I slipped him an extra Franklin even though he said it wasn't necessary and he didn't want it.

Good luck. It is a small world and you never know what can happen.
