Direct control

I want to mount a holster in my car, attached to the seat I am sitting in. Is this considered "direct control"? Is it OK to do this?
Seeing as when sitting in contoured seats does not make for comfortable hip or small of back holsters

Yes, that is under your direct control, as long as you are seated in the driver's seat...
